Certification exams are a quantifiable method of assessing your skills. NI offers certifications for NI LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI, and NI TestStand software.
3. What Levels of Certification Does NI Offer?
The three levels of NI certification demonstrate your developing skills as you move from Certified Associate Developer to Certified Architect.
- Associate Developer certification denotes a basic knowledge in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Candidates must pass a one-hour multiple-choice exam.
- Developer certification represents an advanced knowledge of application development. Candidates must pass a four-hour practical exam.
- Architect certification signifies mastery of the technical aspects of the product and the ability to implement the most efficient solution for a development team. Candidates must pass a four-hour written exam.
4. Are There Any Prerequisites for the Exams?
There are no prerequisites for the Associate Developer exam. You are required to pass the Associate Developer, Developer, and Architect exams in sequence. Each exam builds on the previous and tests a different set of skills and knowledge.
