Overview

National Instruments works with leading semiconductor manufacturers to ensure that NI Multisim contains the components you need in your design. With these relationships, NI can augment its database with each revision to offer up-to-date symbols, SPICE models, and land patterns for your projects.

About National Semiconductor

National Instruments and National Semiconductor began collaborating on the Multisim database with the release of NI Multisim 10.1.1 in February 2009. This relationship ensures that Multisim customers can evaluate many National Semiconductor analog components.

National Semiconductor creates energy-efficient analog and mixed-signal semiconductors as well as SolarMagic power optimizers. Its PowerWise products enable systems that consume less power, extend battery life, and generate less heat. National Semiconductor's leading-edge products include power management circuits, display drivers, audio and operational amplifiers, communication interface products, and data conversion solutions.

National Semiconductor offers the WEBENCH design tool, which you can use to evaluate some of your devices online and visualize design choices based on cost and topology.
