temperature
The measure of how cold or hot a thing is. The kelvin, unit of thermodynamic temperature, is the fraction 1/273.16 of the thermodynamic temperature of the triple point of water.

Units:
degrees K (kelvin). Temperature is often measured in degrees Celsius (C), which equals the temperature in Kelvin minus 273.15.
