PrintA noise signal that never repeats and has a flat frequency spectrum. Also known as white noise. Random noise can also be a digital pattern that never repeats. Random noise is generally considered to have a Gaussian amplitude distribution, but numerically generated noise can also have a flat amplitude distribution. LabVIEW provides both types. The amplitude of random noise is normally measured as the RMS value.
