Description
Frame grabbers that support triggering usually provide the capability of outputting digital signals. Other devices can then use these signals for triggering, synchronization, or troubleshooting, or simply as a generic programmed digital I/O source.Options for digital output signals include:
- Disabled
- Programmed (asserted/deasserted)
- Acquisition in progress
- Acquisition done
- Pixel clock, horizontal sync, or vertical sync (PCLK, HSYNC, VSYNC)
- Frame start
- Frame done
Common Applications
What To Expect
The specified digital output signal is produced on the external trigger lines or RTSI lines.
