Electronics Workbench Version 9 Service Pack 1 README
Overview
A new Service Pack for Version 9 of Multicap, Multisim, MultiMCU and Ultiboard is now available for customers with current SSP (service) contracts. You can access the update through SUU inside your version 9 software, or you can download it from the website: http://www.electronicsworkbench.com/support. The Service Pack includes both product improvements and several defect fixes - please see below for details.
Product Improvements
Multisim and/or Multicap
- Improved v8 file import.
- Improved dual monitor support.
- Improved speed of report generation.
- Improved PIC IROM view in MultiMCU.
- Improved resizing or moving of MCU-related windows with numerous cells in MultiMCU.
Ultiboard
- Improved file import.
- Improved performance of coordinate entry.
- Ultiroute is now better able to route with very large metric grids.
Defect Fixes
- Expressions are now working in DC Sweep analysis.
- Crashes fixed:
- changing wire width on specific net configurations
- importing Ulticap files with virtual nets
- aborting an Orcad file import.
- Saving to LVM from scope front panel now saves correct time information.
- XSPICE functions corrected:
- PWR() and PWRS()
- Device B with constant value as in format B1 p1 p2 V = <const value>
- MultiMCU - PIC instructions with destination address over 0xff now function correctly (e.g., GOTO, (ALL, ADDWF).
Ultiboard
- Crashes fixed:
- when using Copy Route and reverting source selection
- when attempting to use Delete Copper Island on a recently moved copper area with no copper islands.
- Unlocking grouped components properly cascades to sub-components within a group.
- Ref IDs of components that are part of a group display correctly on the spreadsheet.
- Ultiroute no longer places vias on custom SMD pads when this option is set to "no".
- Ultiroute exit problem solved.
