Overview

The LabVIEW FPGA Module includes Memory Read and Memory Write VIs that can access up to 16 kB of memory on FPGA devices. With the FPGA Module Memory Extension Utility, you can take advantage of all onboard memory located on the FPGA device. The utility creates custom FPGA memory blocks that you can use as part of your FPGA VI, giving you access to all available memory on the FPGA device.

Note: With the LabVIEW FPGA Module 8.2.X, you can access all available memory on the FPGA using memory items with the Memory Read and Memory Write functions. Use the Upgrade Advisor to upgrade to the LabVIEW FPGA Module 8.2.
