Configurable Power-Up States for NI 6527 Devices

3 ratings | 1.67 out of 5
Print
This utility allows you to set the power-up states of the solid-state relays on the NI 6527 devices. You can only configure the power-up states for the 24 solid-state relays on the output lines (ports 3:5). Default power-up states are logic high for the output lines, and the solid-state relays are open.

With this utility, you can specify whether each of the relays should be open or closed when the device receives power from the computer. Before the device powers up, the relays are in their default open states. The relays switch to their user-defined states approximately 200 ms after the device receives power from the computer.

WARNING: Before running this utility, ensure that your device is not in use. Make sure that no application is writing to the lines, reading from the lines, or performing change notification on the device.

Note: This utility requires NI-DAQ 6.8 or higher.
