The National Instruments Getting Started with NI-DAQmx Series is aimed at helping you learn NI-DAQmx programming fundamentals. Through video and text tutorials, this series will take you from verifying your device's operation in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to programming data acquisition applications using LabVIEW. It is intended for both the beginner who wants to learn how to use the DAQ Assistant, as well as the experienced user who wishes to take advantage of advanced NI-DAQmx functionality.

The device pinouts for a particular NI-DAQmx device should be included in the operating manual for the device. You can also access these pinouts from the NI-DAQmx Device Terminals help file that is installed with DAQmx. A quick way to access this file with the exact pinout you need is from Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). In MAX under Devices and Interfaces, right-click on your device and select Device Pinouts. This will open the help document, as well as go directly to the pinout diagrams for that particular device.
