Overview

SigmaQuest SigmaSure is a comprehensive system for collecting, aggregating, and analyzing your test data throughout the product lifecycle. It provides unparalleled analysis functionality to accelerate problem detection, resolution, and prevention. Using SigmaSure, you can easily access and analyze TestStand data from a single test station or from many stations located throughout the world. This results in higher yields, more reliable products, and lower costs.

SigmaSure is Web-architected and accessed via an ordinary Web browser. It is written in Java so that it is platform independent (Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris/Unix, etc.) and easily deployed across sites with disparate computing infrastructures. SigmaSure includes an “auto configuring” database that accepts and aggregates all of your test data in real time as your run your tests – database setup is not required. The database scales to support one to hundreds of test stations. It supports analysis of terabytes of data with speed and flexibility.

Enhance TestStand Functionality

As the complexity and the content of electronics grows, testing and test analysis continues to evolve. TestStand is designed to manage the tests and collection of test results at the test station. SigmaSure is designed for collecting this data, aggregating it across one or many sites, and analyzing all of the data from a single test station or all stations in the network. The integrated TestStand-SigmaSure solution provides a comprehensive system for meeting the challenges of today’s complex test environments.

Collect and Manage All of Your Data

The integrated TestStand-SigmaSure solution is easy to implement. Just install SigmaSure, select the process model for data collection, and start collecting data in the SigmaSure database. As SigmaSure reads your TestStand data, it auto configures the database schema for you. You do not need to set up the data fields. Collecting data from multiple stations and multiple sites is also easy. Use a simple SigmaSure setup function to define the locations of the test stations. As you collect data across stations and sites, the system will auto configure your database schema regardless of the diverse processes and data formats that may vary across stations. This makes it easy to collect and analyze all of your data whether it is from the lab, manufacturing, or field repair centers.

Analyze All of Your Data

Accessing the data that is stored in the SigmaSure database is as simple as “point and click.” When SigmaSure auto configures the database to accept and store your data, it also builds the navigation tree that you use for selecting data. Using the tree, you can create complex queries without knowledge of SQL (structured query language) or the data schema. You can select a single product, location, test station, test, etc. to target your analysis or you can select a combination of parameters to compare results such as yields across sites, products, etc. You can configure the tree hierarchy to meet your requirements. For example, you can order the tree by location or you can order the tree by product or test.

Accelerate Problem Detection, Resolution, and Prevention

SigmaSure includes integrated analytics and automated drilldowns called Discovery Wizards which are based on customer use models. They provide unprecedented insight into product performance. This accelerates problem detection, resolution, and prevention thus resulting in higher yields, more reliable products, and faster correction of product issues in next generation designs.

Elevate Test from the Engineer to the Enterprise

Product performance has traditionally been the domain of engineers. SigmaSure Enterprise’s easy-to-use Dashboard and reporting capabilities make it easy for users across the organization, including Operations, Finance, and Supplier Management, to access and understand product performance information. Suppliers can also access the data. This broader use to product performance information enables organizations to collaborate, improve supplier performance, manage financial liability, reduce process inefficiencies, and lower cost of goods sold (COGS).

Start Small or Go Global

The integrated TestStand-SigmaSure solution supports today’s complex test environments. Single sites as well as outsourced and distributed organizations can implement this ready-to-run solution. Legacy data, data from other test systems including NI LabVIEW and diagnostics, and batch inputs can also be integrated to provide a complete view of product performance.
