LabVIEW Toolkit for LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT 2.0

Use NI LabVIEW software to program your NXT device.

• Program and control NXT devices with the full power of LabVIEW
• Get real-time updates from the NXT device during program operation with LabVIEW front panels
• Create native blocks for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT software

Compatibility Note: You must have one of the following versions of LabVIEW installed to use the toolkit:

• For Windows: LabVIEW 7.1.x, 8.0, 8.2, 8.5.x, 8.6.x
• For Mac OS: LabVIEW 7.1, 8.0, 8.2, 8.5

If you do not have any of the above versions, you will have an opportunity to request an evaluation version upon downloading.

toolkit essential
My electronics course learns does data acquisition and programs in LabVIEW so I decided to have them devise, build, and interface new sensors for the NXT as a project. I was counting on the toolkit being available as we need it now to measure analog voltages. Is a beta version available?

In time for Christmas?
I bought myself the NXT kit months ago and its still in the box. Was the promise of a toolkit juts to generate lego sales? Give us (LV Users) the APIs and well develop the VIs for you! I just want to play with my legos, its been thirty years.
