By default, the Lookout Web Client displays only alarms generated by the client process in the alarm window. However, you can manipulate the lookout.ini file on the machine running the Web Client to display alarms from other processes as well. In the example below the settings would add alarms from the machine named "computer" and from the processes "SERVER1" and "SERVER2" to the Web Client alarm window. The Count parameter represents the total number of processes added under the [SelectedProcesses] category in the lookout.ini file.
|
Make sure you have these lines, substituting your own computer and process names, in the lookout.ini file on the client machine:
[SelectedProcesses]
P0=\\computer\SERVER1
P1=\\computer\SERVER2
Count=2 |
|
In order to acknowledge alarms on both selected processes, use the $Alarm.ack datamember connected to a pushbutton, to acknowledge the alarms on both the server and client.
