Measure in Minutes with LabVIEW Instrument Driver Finder
To significantly reduce the time to first measurement, National Instruments introduces the Instrument Driver Finder for National Instruments LabVIEW 8. It is now possible within LabVIEW to search and download instrument drivers from the Instrument Driver Network (ni.com/idnet), featuring support for more than 4,000 models.
Using a configuration-based interface, the Instrument Driver Finder queries the instrument buses on your PC for connected instruments and then searches the Instrument Driver Network for corresponding drivers. You automatically can download and install found drivers without leaving the LabVIEW environment. Thus, you can measure in minutes using LabVIEW 8 to identify your connected instruments, search and download the latest drivers, and begin using the newly installed instrument driver VIs to quickly develop your application.
