Vista Configuration Management Solution Package integrates Visual SourceSafe™ or ClearCase™ with LabVIEW™ for TestStand and LabVIEW based development projects. A wide spectrum of development environments and practice requirements are supported, including FDA and DoD guidelines.
Common configuration problems are avoided with complete control over versions, deployments, and modifications. Vista Tools allow baselines to be quickly and easily saved, providing the peace of mind that comes from knowing that programs are safe, correct, and accessible.
Vista allows user configuration labels, integrated with the baseline, so status is always known. Vista creates an integrity tool at runtime, performing both a checksum and datestamp comparison. Vista also verifies the file path that is running versus what should be running and flags any problems. Vista is integrated with SCC repository and works behind the scenes with LabVIEW requirements so that two different versions of a file can be easily compared…even if they have the same file name. Vista's SCC central repository requires check out of file so that users will not be making changes simultaneously - and also guaranteeing that only the latest version is updated.
