Overview
With the NI LabVIEW graphical development environment, you can add wireless measurements to your systems. An open software platform with support for multiple standards, LabVIEW helps you easily combine different technologies and future-proof your investment.
LabVIEW Drivers for Wireless Sensor Networks
LabVIEW provides a wide range of connectivity options through open protocols, instrument drivers, and a development environment that you can use to build your own connectivity. To simplify connectivity for wireless sensor networks (WSN's), engineers at National Instruments have developed LabVIEW drivers for wireless sensor networks from Accsense, Accutech, Banner Engineering, and Crossbow Technology gateways. You can also use OPC or Modbus to connect to other wireless gateways including Sensicast devices.

Integrating Wired and Wireless Data
From a system view, data from wired or wireless sensors is transmitted to a measurement system. The measurement system is typically a PLC, an industrial PC, or a combination of these, also known as a programmable automation controller (PAC). Using LabVIEW, you can integrate existing wired measurements with new wireless data from a variety of vendors. For enterprise connectivity, LabVIEW supports open protocols such as Wi-Fi and new industrial Wi-Fi devices such as the NI WAP-3701 wireless access point.

Use LabVIEW to easily connect different wireless sensor networks to the wired world and the enterprise.

Installation Location
These drivers should be installed into
LabVIEW's instrument driver directory. For
LabVIEW 8.20, this is:
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW
8.2\instr.lib

Installation
I'm sure this is a trivial question, but
where would you extract the zip folder to?
I'm sure a link to the appropriate
instructions on where to extract the files
to would be helpful.
