NI Developer Suite 2011 DS2 incorporates many updates, including LabVIEW 2011. Click on the links below to learn about the new features in each software package upgraded during this release, indicated in bold.

Notes:  Developer Suite has changed from quarterly shipments to biannual shipments. We have recently aligned the release of our application software such that quarterly shipments are no longer necessary. This decision was based on feedback we have received feedback from Developer Suite users that 4 shipments per year is too much to manage, and most users don’t upgrade with each shipment. As a Developer Suite customer, National Instruments is committed to providing you access to National Instruments software as soon as updates are available, and the new shipment schedule combined with aligning our software releases will ensure that you do.

National Instruments has recently announced discontinued production and support for the Mobile Module Deployment Option add-on for Developer Suite starting 2012 DS2. For existing users of the LabVIEW Mobile Module, National Instruments will continue to offer general support for this module until August 1, 2012. After that date, you may receive support on the Web through discussion forums on ni.com/support.

Additionally, all Developer Suite customers will now receive the latest versions of LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit, LabVIEW Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit and the LabVIEW Unit Test Framework. These professional development toolkits will make it easier to design high-quality and reliable systems with LabVIEW and NI products through the application of standard software engineering and validation practices.
