Leveraging LabVIEW Experience for Programming FPGAs

Overview

With this presentation, you will learn how to use existing LabVIEW knowledge to program Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). FPGAs are programmable hardware chips targetable with LabVIEW diagrams bringing the normally difficult process of programming FPGAs to all LabVIEW users. Since LabVIEW is running on physical hardware, programs can utilize the fastest deterministic loop rates of any LabVIEW Target. In the process of experiencing a new way to program FPGA you will learn about the NI CompactRIO containing Real-Time and FPGA combined with modular I/O and an ultra robust chassis.
