What are the minimum requirements to participate in the Volume License Program
To participate in the Volume License Program, an organization must meet the following requirements:
- Purchase 5 or more licenses the same type of NI development software, including:
- Developer Suite
- LabVIEW Full or Professional Development System
- TestStand Development System
- Measurement Studio Professional or Enterprise Edition
- LabWindows/CVI Full Development System
- DIAdem Advanced or Professional Edition
- Multisim Power Pro Edition
- Circuit Design Suite Power Pro Edition
- Designate an individual to act as a VLA administrator

What does it take to administer the VLA?
When you purchase a VLA, you will need to designate one person as the VLA Administrator. This person will:
- Receive new software and distribute to the end users on the VLA
- Administer permissions for software access with NI Volume License Manager
- Collect renewal fee from end users
- Provide end user names to National Instruments
- Be the primary contact for user groups

Minimum Requirements incomplete
The minimum requirements portion of
this article does not mention that SW
needs to be current. (eg. Cannot start 5
seat VLA w/ LV Pro versions 7.0, 8.2, 8.0.
and (2) 8.6 licenses)
