Challenge X: Crossover to Sustainable Mobility
Challenge X is a three-year competition that challenges university-level engineering students to decrease total energy consumption and emissions in a crossover vehicle, while maintaining or exceeding vehicle utility and performance. Students to participate in hands-on development with leading-edge automotive propulsion, fuels, materials, and emissions-control technologies, including measurement and design tools from National Instruments.
The EcoCAR Challenge is a three-year competition among engineering students to design and build advanced vehicles that minimize the environmental impact of personal transportation. The technologies explored in EcoCAR include full-function electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell hybrid vehicles.
UC Davis Green Technology Entrepreneurship Academy
The Green Technology Entrepreneurship Academy (GTEA) provides science and engineering doctoral students, post-docs, and research faculty with the necessary knowledge and skills to move environmentally sustainable research out of the laboratory and into practice.
