Overview

Module 7 introduces you to state machines, a commonly used programming architecture. You will learn how to create and use a state machine within LabVIEW.

Required Software for Exercises:
• NI LabVIEW 8.5 or later

Introduction to Creating State Machines

State machines are used for creating decision making algorithms.  This sub module will cover the process of creating state machines and how to implement them within LabVIEW.


 

Module Exercise

In this exercise, you will create a state machine to effectively control the flow of execution of a program.
