NI-Sync 3.1 Beta 3 Obsolete - NI-Sync 3.1 is fully released

New Features

Test Panels for PXI-665x and PXIe-6672 Boards.

Temporary issues when used on LabVIEW RT

Full Support on RT Targets

Beta 3 now provides IEEE 1588-2008 support on LabVIEW RT for the PXI-6682 and PCI-1588 in addition to the GPS/IRIG/PPS support available in Beta 2.

IEEE 1588 Version 2 (2008) Support

This NI-Sync 3.1 Beta driver provides IEEE-1588 Version 2 (2008 ) support. Prior released versions of NI-Sync provide IEEE-1588 version 1 (2002) support. What Is NI-Sync?

NI-Sync is a library of VIs and functions for controlling NI PXI and PCI timing hardware modules. Using NI-Sync, you can configure all aspects of timing and synchronization for these devices, including sharing trigger signals and clocks in one or more chassis. In addition, you can configure all aspects for Time-based synchronization modules, including IEEE 1588, GPS, IRIG and PPS synchronization, timestamping, and generation of time-synchronized signals. You can use NI-Sync in conjunction with other measurement software, such as NI-DAQmx, to create advanced high-channel-count measurements that span multiple PXI chassis or an Ethernet network.

The latest released driver for NI-Sync can be found here.
