How Do I Activate My National Instruments Software Using the Automatic NI Activation Wizard
Overview
Activating your National Instruments software is a quick and easy process. If the computer where your software is installed is connected to the internet you can use the NI Activation Wizard to activate. If you are not connected to the internet, you can still use the NI Activation Wizard to receive instructions on how to activate using a web browser, email, telephone, or fax.
How to Activate Using the NI Activation Wizard

To start the activation process you will need to open the NI License Manager
- Navigate to Start»All Programs»National Instruments»NI License Manager

Navigate through the tree of installed products to the product that you purchased a license for. Right click the product and select Activate...

- The NI Activation Wizard will launch. If you are connected to the internet the best option is to Automatically activate through a secure internet connection.

- Enter the serial numbers for the products you purchased licenses for.

- Enter your name and organization to finish the activation process. You may also enter additional information to register at this time as well.

- Enter your email address to receive your activation code by email for record keeping.
