hemi-anechoic chamber
A special test chamber with a hard, reflecting floor whose other surfaces are anechoic, thereby approximating free-field conditions above a reflecting plane. Used in precision-grade measurements for small equipment items, and engineering-grade measurements for larger equipment items.
