Overview

GPIB Serial Converter examples for C, D, S, and G modes for the C programming language.

This set of four examples for the GPIB-RS232/485/422 demonstrate use of the converter in each of the four modes of operation: C, D, S, and G.  Each example shows how to query a serial or GPIB instrument for identification information using the *IDN? command and then subsequently read back a response from the instrument.

The examples are dependent on visa.h and visa32.lib and thus require NI-VISA to be installed.
