Deployment and Debug Licenses for NI Software

Some National Instruments software products provide debug and deployment licenses so users can resolve issues with systems and applications in production and users can license the intellectual property provided by the development license respectively. The following is list of all the debug and deployment licenses offered by National Instruments.
Debug Licenses
Debug licenses are computer-based licenses used for resolving issues in an existing application that was created with a development license. Debug licenses consist of the same software as development licenses but must only be used to resolve issues on applications created with a development license. Debug licenses are sold with a Standard Service Contract.

Deployment Licenses
Deployment licenses are required for distributing applications that use specific software products. You must purchase one deployment license for each target computer on which the application is distributed. In some cases the deployment license is included in the hardware where the license is deployed. Two models for deployment licenses exist, separate deployment and same as development.
Separate License
The following software products have separate deployment licenses that are required for distributing applications developed using the product. Separate deployment licenses do not offer a Standard Service Contract (SSP) or upgrades.
