Ultrasonic test covers a broad range of applications from medical ultrasonic imaging to detecting delaminations in laminated flooring as it runs off of the production line. National Instruments offers a set of general purpose test tools, including hardware and software, that can easily be assembled to create ultrasonic test systems that fit these broad needs. Because these test tools are PC-based, they offer a flexible, modular architecture to create exactly the test system that your application requires.

When building a PC-based system, there are several system architectures to choose from. The PC-based architecture that offers the performance and price of a PC and the high-performance features, such as integrated timing and triggering, for measurement and control is PXI. The PXI platform offers a single platform in which small- to large-scale ultrasonic test systems are built.

Is it posible to communicate?
In reading your article, I came with the
idea that people can actually communicate
with this ultrasound waves intead of using
the regular cell phones. Much like the new
and improved personal IDs, but imprinted
somehow in DNA.
