Use this page of the G Web Server Configuration dialog box to specify server administration information, DNS settings, and startup settings. You can start the G Web Server from this page. You also can edit access configuration settings and user permissions.
This page includes the following components:
- Server Admin—Contains the email address you want the G Web Server to include in error documents that the server generates if it encounters errors.
- Use DNS—Specifies whether the G Web Server converts TCP/IP addresses to their corresponding hostnames. If you do not have access to a DNS server, remove the checkmark from the Use DNS checkbox.
- Launch G Web Server at LabVIEW Startup—Specifies whether the G Web Server runs when you start LabVIEW.
- Show G Web Server at Server Startup—Specifies whether LabVIEW displays the G Web Server window if it launches when you start LabVIEW. You also must select the Launch G Web Server at LabVIEW Startup option to enable this option.
- Access Configuration—Opens the HTTP Access Configuration dialog box, which allows you to edit access configuration settings for front panels and directories.
- Group File Editor—Opens the Password Group File Editor dialog box.
- User File Editor—Opens the Password User File Editor dialog box.
- Start G Web Server—Runs the G Web Server.
- Connect Browser—Opens the default Web browser to the G Web Server home page. You can click this button only if the G Web Server is running.
