Authorization Dialog Box
Installed With: Internet Toolkit
Click the Authorization button in the Directory Configuration dialog box to display this dialog box.
Use this dialog box to set G Web Server configuration directives related to user authentication and authorization.
 | Note The Internet Toolkit includes the G Web Server for backward compatibility. National Instruments recommends you use the LabVIEW Web Server to run VIs on the Web. |
This dialog box contains the following components:
- AuthUserFile—Specifies the file to use as a list of users and passwords for user authentication. Click the Browse icon to the left of the textbox to navigate to the file you want to use. Click the Edit icon to open the Password User File Editor dialog box.
- AuthGroupFile—Specifies the file to use as a list of user groups for user authentication. Click the Browse icon to the left of the textbox to navigate to the file you want to use. Click the Edit icon to open the Password Group File Editor dialog box.
- AuthName—Sets the name of the authorization area for this directory or front panel. This area is a name given to users so they know which username and password to send.
- AuthType—Sets the type of authorization the directory or front panel uses.
You must set the AuthUserFile, AuthGroupFile, AuthName, and AuthType directives for user authorization to work correctly.
