Click the Group File Editor button in the Advanced page of the G Web Server Configuration dialog box, or click the Edit icon to the left of the AuthGroupFile text box in the Authorization dialog box to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to edit the G Web Server password file for groups of users.

This dialog box includes the following components:

  • Group File Path—Displays the path to the password file you want to edit.
  • Open—Opens a File dialog box you can use to navigate to the password file you want to edit. When you double-click the filename to open it, the file text appears in the Users listbox.
  • Save—Saves the password file you are editing.
  • Delete—Removes a username you select in the Users listbox from the password file.
  • users—Lists the usernames and their associated passwords in the password file.
  • Name—Specifies a username or group name you want to add or change in the password file.
  • Add User—Adds a user you specify in the Name text box to the Users listbox.
  • Change User—Changes a username that you select in the Users listbox to a username that you specify in the Name text box.
  • Add Group—Adds a group you specify in the Name text box to the Users listbox.
  • Change Group—Changes a group name that you select in the Users listbox to a name that you specify in the Name text box.
  • Remove User—Removes a username that you select in the Users listbox from the password file.
  • Remove Group—Removes a group name that you select in the Users listbox from the password file, and removes the usernames that are part of the group.
  • Done—Closes the dialog box. If you have not saved the password file, a dialog box prompts you to save.
