Alarming Page (DSC Module)

Select the Alarming option in the Category list of the Shared Variable Properties dialog box to display this page. Use this page to enable alarming for a shared variable.

Note   You can enable alarming only for network-published shared variables.

This page includes the following options:

  • Enable Alarming—Sets alarming for the shared variable.
  • Alarms—Displays the currently active alarms for the shared variable.
  • Configure—Displays the Configure Alarms dialog box, where you can set and edit the alarms for a shared variable. The Configure Alarms dialog box varies depending on the data type—double, string, Boolean, or bit array—of the shared variable.

Note   LabVIEW stores logged data in the database you specify on the DSC Settings: Database page of the Project Library Properties dialog box.
