Acknowledging Alarms (DSC Module)

When you configure alarms, you specify the alarm acknowledgement mode. The alarm acknowledgement mode determines if an alarm is automatically acknowledged when it transitions from TRUE to FALSE or if you must explicitly acknowledge the alarm. You must acknowledge each instance of an alarm separately. You can acknowledge alarms with the Alarm and Event Display control or National Instruments Shared Variable Monitor, or you can use the Acknowledge Alarms VI.
