This help file contains information about the fundamentals of waveforms and video signals, device-specific content for all NI signal generators, and getting started steps for creating an application with NI-FGEN and your ADE. This help file also contains information about configuring signal generator applications, including programming references for both NI-FGEN and the NI Composite Video Generator and information about the interactive generation of waveforms and video signals on an NI signal generator. NI signal generators include the NI-FGEN driver with an intuitive, powerful application programming interface (API). NI-FGEN is Windows-compatible and provides an API for LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, and other text-based development environments.
