Creating a LabVIEW Project with the Project Explorer Window (RT Module)
You must use a project to work with an RT target. Use projects to group together LabVIEW files and non-LabVIEW files, create build specifications, and deploy or download files to RT targets.
Complete the following steps to create a project manually.
- Select File»New Project to display the Project Explorer window. You also can select Project»New Project or select Empty Project in the New dialog box to display the Project Explorer window.
- Add an RT target to the project.
- Add items you want to include in the project under an RT target.
- Select File»Save Project to save the project.
You also can interactively create projects using the RT Project Wizard.
