Use the Real-Time Watchdog VIs to detect and respond to failure conditions on networked RT Series devices.
The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific Watchdog error codes.
| Palette Object | Description |

| Watchdog Clear | Resets the watchdog hardware and associated attributes and actions to the default power-on state and closes the watchdog object. |
| Watchdog Configure | Configures a new watchdog object with a timeout and expiration actions. |
| Watchdog Whack | Resets the watchdog counter to the value you specify using either the Watchdog Configure VI or the Watchdog Set Attribute VI. |
