Reads the switch state of DIP switches on a networked RT Series device.

switch type is the type of DIP switch you want to configure. A system switch changes the boot behavior of a controller. A user switch allows users to manually interact with VIs on the device.

system switch	Specifies that the switch is a system switch.
user switch	Specifies that the switch is a user switch.

switch ID is the index number that corresponds to the device DIP switch. Index numbers always start at 0 for each switch type and the total number is based on the number of device DIP switches.

error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

switch state indicates the state of the switch. TRUE indicates the switch is on. FALSE indicates the switch is off.

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
