Owning Palette: RT Utilities VIs

Requires: RT Module

Unlocks an RT target so that users on the network can configure and access the target without a password.

Use the pull-down menu to select an instance of this VI.

Select an instance RT Unlock Target (IP)RT Unlock Target (MAC)

RT Unlock Target (IP)

	target address specifies the IP address or DNS name of the target.
	password specifies the password required to unlock the target.
	error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	target address out returns the same address as target address.
	password-protected restarts? indicates whether the target requires a password to restart.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

RT Unlock Target (MAC)

	MAC address is the MAC address of the networked device. This input must be in hexadecimal format without : delimiters. Use the RT Get Target Information VI to obtain the MAC address of an RT target programmatically.
	password specifies the password required to unlock the target.
	error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	MAC address out returns the MAC address of the target.
	password-protected restarts? indicates whether the target requires a password to restart.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
