Watchdog Add Trigger Action VI

Configures the watchdog object to assert a PXI trigger line when the watchdog timer expires. Use this VI in the configuration stage of the application, prior to the Watchdog Enable VI.

Details  

	watchdogID in specifies a watchdog object.
	trigger ID specifies the trigger line on the PXI bus to assert when the watchdog timer expires. Refer to the specific RT target hardware documentation for information about supported PXI trigger lines.
	trigger protocol is the protocol used for trigger action on the PXI bus when the watchdog timer expires. active high Sets the trigger action to be active when the line is high. active low Sets the trigger action to be active when the line is low. open collector Sets the trigger action to operate as an open collector output.
	error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	watchdogID out has the same value as watchdogID in.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

Watchdog Add Trigger Action Details

This VI does not reserve trigger lines nor discriminate between reserved and unreserved trigger lines. If you specify a trigger ID corresponding to a trigger line that has been reserved elsewhere, the watchdog object overwrites the existing value on the trigger line when the watchdog timer expires.
