Understanding Creator IDs in Palm OS PDA Applications (Palm OS, PDA Module)
Creator IDs are four character IDs that differentiate applications on a Palm OS device. In LabVIEW, the default Creator ID is LBV_. You determine the Creator ID when you create the build specification. You can change this ID.
PalmSource recommends that you obtain and register a unique Creator ID from PalmSource. You must register a unique Creator ID if you plan on reselling your PDA application. You can install different applications with the same Creator ID, but you cannot delete individual applications with the same Creator ID.

Caution When you delete a PDA application from a Palm OS device, Palm OS deletes all PDA applications that share the same Creator ID. |
