Gets or sets how many elements the destination offset is incremented after every transfer.

Namespace: NationalInstruments.VisaNS

Assembly: NationalInstruments.VisaNS (in NationalInstruments.VisaNS.dll) Version: 13.0.40.167

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Property DestinationIncrement As Integer

C#
public int DestinationIncrement { get; set; }

Property Value

Number of elements that the destination offset is incremented. This value can be 0 or 1. The default value is 1.

Implements

IRegisterBasedSession.DestinationIncrement

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
VisaException The property is set to an invalid state.
DllNotFoundException The NI-VISA driver library cannot be found.
EntryPointNotFoundException A required operation in the NI-VISA driver library cannot be found.
ObjectDisposedException This member is called after the Dispose method is called directly from code or indirectly through a finalizer.

Remarks

Because the default value of this property is 1, the destination address is incremented by 1 after each transfer, and the MoveOut methods move into consecutive elements. If you set DestinationIncrement to 0, the MoveOut methods always write to the same element, essentially treating the destination as a FIFO register.
