Manually Downloading Applications to an ARM Pocket PC 2003 or Windows Mobile 5.0 Emulator (PDA Module)
You can use folder sharing to manually download a PDA application to an ARM Pocket PC 2003 emulator.

Note The Windows CE Remote File Viewer is not supported for ARM Pocket PC 2003 emulators. |
Complete the following steps to download a PDA application using an ARM Pocket PC emulator and folder sharing.
- Launch the ARM emulator. Wait until the emulator start screen appears.
- Select File»Configure in the ARM Pocket PC emulator to open the Emulator Properties dialog box.
- In the Shared folder text box, navigate to and select the directory on the host computer you want to share.
- Click the OK button. The ARM Pocket PC emulator adds the directory you selected as a storage card.
Finding the Directory You Shared
Complete the following steps to find the directory you shared using folder sharing.
- On the ARM Pocket PC emulator, select Start»Programs.
- Select the File Explorer icon. My Documents appears in the Pocket PC toolbar on the ARM emulator screen.
- Select My Documents, which changes to Show.
- Select My Device. Click the Storage Card folder to access the folder you shared.
