The PDA Module and the Touch Panel Module support the dynamic data type, which means you can use Express VIs in PDA and Touch Panel VIs.

The PDA Module and the Touch Panel Module do not support the following Express VIs:

• Amplitude and Level Measurements
• DAQ Assistant
• DIAdem Report
• Delay Values
• Prompt User for Input
• Read From Measurement File
• Report
• Timing and Transition Measurements
• Trigger and Gate
• Write To Measurement File

The PDA Module and the Touch Panel Module also do not support the following functions on the Express palettes:

• Merge Signals
• Split Signals

If you use the Merge Signals function or the Split Signals function in a PDA or Touch Panel VI, the VI does not break until you build the VI into a PDA or Touch Panel application. This functionality differs from other unsupported VIs and functions, which break the PDA or Touch Panel VI when you place the unsupported VI or function on the block diagram.

Scaling and Mapping Express VI

If you wire the output of one Scaling and Mapping Express VI to the input of a second Scaling and Mapping Express VI, the PDA or Touch Panel VI might behave incorrectly.
