Color
PDA and Touch Panel VIs support color in the following Boolean controls differently than LabVIEW for Windows:
- Toggle switches—PDA and Touch Panel VIs do not support different colors for a toggle switch and the base of a toggle. The color you select for the toggle switch is also the color of the toggle base regardless of the color you select for the base.
- Push buttons—PDA and Touch Panel VIs do not support changing the background color of a push button.
- Vertical and horizontal slide buttons—PDA and Touch Panel VIs do not support changing the foreground color of a slide button.
- Decorations—If you place a Boolean control on a decoration, the Boolean control uses the background color of whatever the decoration is on instead of the decoration if the color is different.
Checkboxes
PDA and Touch Panel VIs support checkboxes differently than LabVIEW for Windows:
- You cannot resize a checkbox control in a PDA or Touch Panel application.
Blinking
PDA and Touch Panel VIs support blinking for Boolean controls differently than LabVIEW for Windows:
- PDA and Touch Panel VIs do not support blinking for system controls.
Boolean Text
(Windows Vista) If you build a PDA or Touch Panel application on Windows Vista, long Boolean
text is clipped in the application. To prevent clipping, use a font other than the default application font.
