While in the Running state, you can edit the source configuration dynamically using any VI, function, property or attribute listed in the tables below. When editing the source configuration dynamically, the changes are immediately applied.

The following output functions support dynamic reconfiguration:

  • DC Voltage
  • DC Current
Note Note  Some VIs, functions, properties, and attributes are not supported on specific devices. Refer to the NI-DCPower LabVIEW Reference or the NI-DCPower Function Reference Help to determine what NI-DCPower functionality your device supports.

Dynamic reconfiguration is only available when Source trigger is disabled. Therefore, in Single Point source mode, the device can wait for and accept only one Source trigger and apply a single source configuration. If you want the device to wait for another Source trigger before reconfiguring the source, either use Sequence source mode or call Abort followed by Initiate to start a new Single Point generation that waits for a trigger.
