Installed With: NI-DCPower

Configures the pulse bias voltage limit for the specified channel(s). The channel must be enabled for the specified voltage limit to take effect.

Refer to the niDCPower Configure Output Enabled VI for more information about enabling the output channel. The pulse bias voltage limit is the voltage that the output must not exceed when generating the desired pulse bias current level. The pulse bias voltage limit setting is only applicable if the channel is set to the Pulse Current output function using the niDCPower Configure Output Function VI.

Note  This VI is not supported by all devices. Refer to Supported VIs by Device for information about supported devices.

instrument handle identifies a particular instrument session. instrument handle is obtained from the niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI.

channel name specifies to which output channel(s) to apply this configuration value. Specify multiple channels by using a channel list or a channel range. A channel list is a comma (,) separated sequence of channel names (for example, 0,2 specifies channels 0 and 2). A channel range is a lower bound channel followed by a hyphen (-) or colon (:) followed by an upper bound channel (for example, 0-2 specifies channels 0, 1, and 2). In the Running state, multiple output channel configurations are performed sequentially based on the order specified in this parameter.

pulse bias voltage limit specifies the pulse bias voltage limit, in volts, on the specified channel(s).

The limit is specified as a positive value, but symmetric positive and negative limits are enforced simultaneously.

error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cbool.gif

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred before this VI ran or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred before this VI ran. The default is FALSE.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ci32.gif

code is the error or warning code. The default is 0. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cstr.gif

source describes the origin of the error or warning and is, in most cases, the name of the VI that produced the error or warning. The default is an empty string.

instrument handle out passes the handle used to identify the session in all subsequent NI-DCPower VI calls.

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ii32.gif

code is the error or warning code. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.

source describes the origin of the error or warning and is, in most cases, the name of the VI that produced the error or warning.
