Installed With: NI-DCPower

Returns arrays of the measured voltage and current values on the specified output channel(s).

Each call to this VI blocks other VI calls until the measurements are returned from the power supply. The order of the measurements returned in the array corresponds to the order of the specified output channels.

instrument handle identifies a particular instrument session. instrument handle is obtained from the niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI. If instrument handle does not receive a value, then measurements are taken for all output channels.

channel name specifies the output channels to measure. Specify multiple channels by using a channel list or a channel range. A channel list is a comma (,) separated sequence of channel names (for example, 0,2 specifies channels 0 and 2). A channel range is a lower bound channel followed by a hyphen (-) or colon (:) followed by an upper bound channel (for example, 0-2 specifies channels 0, 1, and 2). If channel name does not receive a value, then measurements are taken for all output channels.

error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cbool.gif

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred before this VI ran or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred before this VI ran. The default is FALSE.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ci32.gif

code is the error or warning code. The default is 0. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cstr.gif

source describes the origin of the error or warning and is, in most cases, the name of the VI that produced the error or warning. The default is an empty string.

instrument handle out passes the handle used to identify the session in all subsequent NI-DCPower VI calls.

voltage measurements returns an array of voltage measurements. The measurements in the array are returned in the same order as the channels specified in channel name.

current measurements returns an array of current measurements. The measurements in the array are returned in the same order as the channels specified in channel name.

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred.

code is the error or warning code. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.
