Supported Data Types (DSP Module)
The DSP Module supports the following data types and 1-dimensional arrays of the following data types:
- 8-bit signed and unsigned integer numerics
- 16-bit signed and unsigned integer numerics
- 32-bit signed and unsigned integer numerics
- Single-precision, floating-point numerics
- Double-precision, floating-point numerics
- Boolean
The DSP Module automatically coerces numeric data types to the closest data type the DSP target supports. The coerced type might have more precision or less precision than the original data type. For example, the DSP Module implements double-precision, floating-point numerics as single-precision, floating point numerics.
