In pre-8.0 versions of LabVIEW, palette items were organized in palette views. Palette items are now organized according to categories. Now you can edit a palette set without using a custom palette view, which is no longer supported. You also can use the Favorites category to group together items on the Functions palette that you use frequently. If you want other categories, you can add palette categories.
If you are working with multiple targets, LabVIEW loads a palette set for each target. LabVIEW displays the appropriate palette set for the target that the VI is under in the Project Explorer window.

Tip If you cannot find the VI you are looking for by navigating or searching the palettes, verify the DSP VI you are working on is under a DSP target in the Project Explorer window. |
