Returning Different Results When You Target a DSP versus Windows (DSP Module)
There are inherent differences between digital signal processors (DSPs) and general purpose processors, such as the processors in desktop PCs. Numerical conversion differences between DSP targets and Windows can cause small discrepancies in results.
VIs under the My Computer target in the Project Explorer window run on the desktop PC processor. VIs under the DSP target run on the DSP processor. You can determine which application instance a VI is open in by looking in the bottom left corner of the front panel window or block diagram window.
