Testing a DSP Target (DSP Module)
You can check the DSP I/O resources and verify that LabVIEW can connect to the DSP target in the following two ways:
- Basic Test—Tests basic connectivity and analog and digital output on the DSP target.
- Test Panel—Tests the switches, LEDs, and analog input on the DSP target.
Using the Basic Test
Complete the following steps to test basic functionality of the DSP target using the Basic Test dialog box..
- Right-click the DSP target in the Project Explorer window and select Basic Test from the shortcut menu.
- Click the Start button to begin the test and follow the instructions in the Basic Test dialog box.
- Click the Close button to close the dialog box.
Using the Test Panel
Complete the following steps to test the DSP target using the Test Panel dialog box.
- Right-click the DSP target in the Project Explorer window and select Utilities»Test Panel from the shortcut menu.
- Click the Start button to begin the test and follow the instructions in the Test Panel dialog box.
- Click the Close button to close the dialog box.
