Applies a bi-quadratic transfer function to an input signal. Use the Biquad VI to define a 2-pole, 2-zero digital filter.

Typically, a series of biquad sections are combined with a gain state to implement a specific digital filter.

Details

biquad input is the input signal on which to perform the biquad filter.
coeffb0 specifies the first coefficient of the numerator in the biquad function.
coeffb1 specifies the second coefficient of the numerator in the biquad function.
coeffb2 specifies the third coefficient of the numerator in the biquad function.
coeffa1 specifies the second coefficient of the denominator in the biquad function.
coeffa2 specifies the third coefficient of the denominator in the biquad function.
biquad output is the filtered signal.

Biquad Details

You can define a transfer function for a biquad using the following equation:

where g is represented by a separate gain stage. Both the numerator and denominator of the transfer function are quadratic polynomials.
